30th Morning, 6am it was Somak who woke up and started the fire. Shubhodip woke up too but went off to sleep again for a while and started snoring loudly again!! Somak who was out got scared, thinking it was some animal. After a bit of research, he realized it was Shubhodip. Lets say it was an Virgin experience for Dr. Mondal with Shubhodip‘s snoring. Welcome to the tragedy mate!! Soon we were all up. After a cup of chai and later some maggi, we packed all important stuff and headed straight to the peak.
On the way there were patches of ice, just starting to melt. They got soft, making it difficult to grip. The melting water mixing with the mud and making the path slippery dint help the cause either. We were gaining the height rapidly and loosing out on breath too. By around 12pm we were almost at the peak. Unpacked our bread, butter and sugar, feasted on it while enjoying the view. Soaked in the view from up there for a while and decided it was time to head back down. Suddenly clouds started rushing in, and weather got more windier and more chillier. So we rushed down too. It was jus a minor scare though. Soon at the camp we had our lunch, we packed up and headed back to Solang.
